Personality
While Roll was a sweetheart as a baby, he isn't so sweet in his current stage. He's a little devilish in the barn, pinning his ears every time a person comes near his stall. He tends to hide in the shadows, playing vampire from the sun, mostly because he hates to be awake at the early hours. Roll is perhaps the most intense foal out of Screaming Mimi yet, more like his mom than either Sweet Mimosa or Shatter. He has the powerful figure, the savagely fine head and the speed to kill. From his papa, Roll got his willingness to work and his intensity. Once the equipment goes on, Roll transforms into an absolute monster. He doesn't like to take no for an answer and if he has a better idea for training, he will absolutely do it without consideration of his rider. Roll will prance and play, tossing his head and throwing his back legs out, in the paddock before a race. He almost psychs himself up to go out and go in for the kill.
On the track, Roll moves like the king of the castle. He simply is an eye catcher and his hide, which has the extra little shine, simply is flashier than you'd expect for a single colored horse. He'll move into the gates as if he's done it every day of his life and that's where things get really intense. It is almost like all the air is sucked out of the gate when Vitriol enters. He practically holds his breath until those gates break open and then he shoots away like a rocket. If Roll stumbles at all, he almost recovers too quickly for the eye to follow. With the big strides of his dam, Roll will launch up to the front runners before picking a spot right behind them. He truly knows the name of the game and he has no problem taking the shortest path around the track. His high cruising speed is impressive, but the move he makes into the homestretch is to die for. With incredible speed, Roll will sweep up to the front runners and by, ears pinned, going full throttle. He loves to win and really loves the thrill of victory in crushing his opponents.
