personality
If you happen to glance at the definition of rebelliousness, you might see that it has gotten a new definition and that definition is all Lethal Dose. The tomboy filly is nothing short of a rogue horse. She does what she wants to do when she wants to do it. And orders are best not given if the person doing the ordering wants to live. It is not clear what came first: the rebelliousness or the mean-and-nasty streak. Lee will rush the stalls at even the hint of someone walking by, teeth bared and ears pinned. She's very hard to catch out in the pasture and if there is another horse in with her: good luck catching either of them. Her rebelliousness seems to be contagious and will switch from horse to horse within seconds. Lee and the other horse will run for days around the paddock if it means avoiding work. Once she decides to quit, Lee will finally walk up to the gate with a grumpy face on and allow herself to be led in. Tacking up is a nightmare and a half with this precarious filly, but the fight is worth it once you get this one on the track. Used to working with grumpy mares, Laura Decomte self-nominated herself to deal with Lee. The bay filly reminds her a lot of Whipped Cream, misunderstood and independent. Together, they have a very good partnership and it was almost instantaneous once she got onto the track. Lethal Dose will break like a rocket out of the gate, but will quickly fall back to run somewhere just before mid-pack. She has a brilliant stride courtesy of her heavier frame and is not afraid of tight spaces. She'll run anywhere you please: inside, in the middle of a group and outside. Like most horses, Lee fairs best on the outside where she can manipulate her talent. The bay filly will really rock and roll once she hits the far turn, roaring up to take on the front runners and making a spectacular show down the length of the stretch. Lee is a fighter. Lee is precocious. Lee is tough and she will do whatever it takes to win. Lee is the top dog in every situation, a one of the kind filly.
