Personality
Southern Gent may be of the male species, but there is a heavy dose of irony in calling him a gentleman. This fire breathing dragon of a horse is willful beyond measure and opinionated in such a way, you could grow to hate him if spending too much time with him. Comfort, as he is nicknamed, in another dose of irony, is a jackass of impressive portions. He is never above a good rear, a good kick, a good bite and really one to keep track of all your appendages while near or on him. Why such a snack-sized horse has such a big attitude is beyond team, but they can certainly agree that the small size is helpful. Studly behavior would be much more dangerous if he were a hand or few taller. Comfort loves his carrots mixed into his grain and is a sucker for a warm bran mash. It's probably the only time you'll see him be an absolute lovey-mush and that's a-ok with the team. The glossy bay was spirited when it came to saddle breaking, oftentimes doing his best to imitate the cartoon movie mustang until Malcolm nearly pulled his own hair out in frustration. Gradually, the rogue colt relented and thank goodness for that as he's one of the quickest colts to roll through BBS since Optimus Unstoppable.
His compact frame and bold attitude give him the ultimate weapon when it comes to a gate break. Oftentimes, the colt breaks on top of the door, scaring his jock into thinking he'll break through until, by some small miracle, the doors burst open. With flashy speed, Comfort soars into stride, legs blurring as he cranks through fractions that near :21 flat for that first quarter, a blazing fast fraction in every sense. While most front runners entertain company, Comfort's just can't seem to keep up with him. If they give more, he digs deeper into the tank, a gift from his sire's distance oriented family. Cutting the turns like a barrel horse, Comfort dares his rivals fiendishly to close the gap and he'll do it all with pricked ears and an upright stride as though he were out for a casual jaunt. If ever there were a horse made for The Devil, it's a horse that could outrun even the hounds of hell without so much as taking a deep breath. |
