personality
Nirvana is definitely a horse of a different color, at least at Witch Creek Stable. The bay daughter of Gold Storm and Quintessential came into the program a well-behaved, mannerly filly. She always stood out despite her calm temperament thanks to the fact that every other horse at Witch Creek is neither calm nor gentle. But Nirvana is. Nirvana is shockingly quiet and her eyes speak of intelligence belonging to a much older and much wiser horse. She is the horse everyone goes to when there are issues at hand. Her sweet face and eager to please nature lull every person, even the most hardened, into loving her. Vana does not have one deceptive bone in her body and this was proven the second a rider was thrown up onto her back. The sturdy filly simply stood, ears pricked, eyes eager and watchful. She was the easiest horse in the world to break and also one of the best rides at a young age. The filly is the smoothest gaited horse anyone has ever felt in their life. She just jogs along, hardly propelling her rider up out of the saddle with her easy-going movements. She practically puts you to sleep in the saddle. The fact that a person can be so relaxed aboard a young horse is a testament to Vana's quality. The Gold Storm filly is the most courageous horse in the world. She will face down everyone and anyone if she, another horse or her rider is threatened. She is the knight's charger and she will carry you into battle. The bay filly will walk right into the gate, stand quietly with focused eyes looking over the track. The gates will fly open and Nirvana will practically walk out of the gate while her contemporaries fly off to unspeakable speeds. The bay horse settles right into stride at the back of the pack, stretching out and truly getting the most of her movements. In her first race, this sort of effort was disconcerting until Laura realized she wasn't giving Vana enough credit. The bay filly tracked the field throughout the race, making up lengths in every single furlong until she had the rest of the fields number measured. The sturdy filly will roar up the inside, outside, up the middle and based on her gauge of how fast they were going, will seemingly run just a little bit faster than the leader. Never has there been a more tactical closer in the barn of Witch Creek.
